Mr. Felipe Ferrer – President

Mr. Felipe Ferrer is co-founder of Nexus Corporation and has been its President since the foundation.

He has extensive professional experience in international firms in the industrial and real estate sectors. He has been Director General of SOFRIMA and AGMACO in Mauritania, Director General of SOGIP in Côte d’Ivoire (company with 500 employees), founder and President of COMIP in Côte d’Ivoire (company with 600 employees), President of SOVHISPAN, a joint Soviet-Spanish firm, Managing Director of EUROCHART, all of these companies being concerned with shipping or related businesses. He is also a Director of MEX Group and Administrator of MEDINVEST, real estate investment company.

He holds a Degree in Economics and Business Administration. He has been awarded “Chevalier de l’Ordre National” by the Head of State of Côte d’Ivoire.

Mr. Ernesto Selman

Ernesto Selman has had a widespread career in finance. Having graduated with a degree in Economy from INTEC and with a Masters degree in Management in Economic Policies from Columbia University in New York. He has also undertaken various postgraduate studies in finance at prestigious universities such as Georgetown and Harvard.

Throughout his extensive professional career, Mr. Selman has occupied various high profile positions, from Administrative Vice-president of Centennial Dominicana, Advisor to Central Bank Governing body, to consultant for the Interamerican Development Bank. Furthermore, Mr. Selman has published many articles in national newspapers covering various areas in the social sciences field: from economy, national and international politics, sociology, history amongst others.

Amongst the many projects which will be lead by Mr. Selman as Managing Director of Nexus RD is the Angsana Samaná Bay project. This touristic, world renowned, luxury real estate development situated in Samaná Bay is currently in its initial phases of construction. Angsana Samaná Bay will offer exclusive villas and townhouses, 142 luxurious apartments, an exceptional marina, a five-star luxury hotel with 250 suites and spa, considered to be one of the most exclusive developments in the country.
